Bavarian Red Cabbage Crockpot Recipe

A vegetarian delight with the ease of the crock pot, you can't go wrong with this recipe! It’s so easy to make and forget about until the sweet aroma fills your nose with goodness. TIP:
Ingredients
1 large head of red cabbage, washed and coarsely sliced
6 tart apples, cored & quartered
2 medium onions coarsely chopped
2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp sugar
2 cups hot water
6 tbsp butter
2/3 cup cider vinegar
Directions
Place all the ingredients into the crock pot. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or high 3 hours. Stir well before serving.
