Thai Basil Chicken Crockpot Recipe Tips
The yellow curry powder can intensify a lot in the crockpot so using a little bit can go a long way. Red curry also goes well with this recipe as well.
Thai Basil Chicken Crockpot Recipe

I love Thai food but I can not seem to make the same meals at home as in the restaraunts but this recipe is still a good one for me. It combines a taste of Thai food and is easy to cook in the crockpot. It is a combination similar to chicken curry that can be bought at some thai places and does have a similar taste. Would love to see what everyone thinks. If I can open my own Thai restaraunt. Just kidding.
Thai Basil Chicken Recipe Ingredients
4 chicken breast(sliced)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp yellow curry
1/2 cup of coconut oil or milk
2 tbs soy sauce
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
Thai Basil Chicken Crockpot Recipe Directions
First add the sliced chicken strips into the crockpot. Combine the garlic, salt, pepper, and soy sauce together and mix very well. Pour this mixture over the chicken strips, allowing the mixture to spread over the chicken meat. Cook on a low setting for about 7 hours. An hour before the meal is finished, add the basil leaves and yellow curry and stir into the mixture and let cook the remaining hour.
