Cornish Game Hens Crockpot Recipe Tips
The flavor seems to be enhanced when using a crockpot so using less of the BBQ sauce is an option for people who want a taste with less spice. This recipe also works with other chicken meat as well includings wings and drumsticks.

Lucille's Cornish Game Hens Crockpot Recipe
Submitted by: Angie Harprings, CA
For those of you lucky enough to have a Lucille's BBQ restaraunt in your neighborhood, congratulations. I have been dining at Lucille's BBQ for a couple of years and give their sauces two thumbs up for a very unique barbecue taste. I decided to try and use their BBQ sauces at home, first on the grill and then the crockpot and both were great experiences. This is a very simple recipe that uses their sauce available on their website. A very delicious meal that if you have not tried the place, will provide a very close sample. The restaraunt does not have cornish game hen. That is my own concoction.
Cornish Game Hens Recipe Ingredients
2 small cornish games hens
2 cups of Lucille's Smokin' Sauce
Cornish Game Hens Crockpot Recipe Directions
First marinate the game hens in the BBQ sauce for at least an hour, making sure the sauce gets all over the hens. Add the hens into the crockpot and cook on a low setting for around 10 hours or more depending on the size of the games hens. The crockpot should really enhance the spicy flavor of this BBQ sauce. Be ready to enjoy some great tasting game hens.
