Brisket and Potatoes Crockpot Recipe

Slow cooked brisket is one of my favorite meals because the meat is so soft and seems to just melt in your mouth. I use soy sauce in this recipe because it adds a unique flavor when mixed with the salt, garlic, and pepper. Other vegetables can be added as well but meat goes with potatoes.
Brisket and Potatoes Recipe Ingredients
3 lbs of lean brisket
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1 tbsp of flour
2 medium potatoes
Brisket and Potatoes Crockpot Recipe Directions
First trim any excess fat from the brisket and brown both sides in a skillet using vegetable oil. Mix the salt, pepper, garlic, and soy sauce together and marinate the brisket with this mixture. Place the potatoes into the Crockpot and add the flour to create a natural gravy mix after the cooking has finished. Now place the brisket over the potatoes and pour any excess marinade over the brisket. Cook on low for around 10 hours and meat should be very soft and tasty.
