Baked Apples Recipe Changes

Filling the baked apples first causes some of the peanut butter taste to sink through. The peanut butter mix can also be applied after slow cooking the apples.

Crockpot Baked Apples Recipe

Submitted by: Devon, CA

Slow cooked apples are a very healthy snack. Adding peanut butter and cinnamon makes the apples even better tasting. This recipe is almost like an apple pie created in each individual apple. Enjoy.

Baked Apples Crockpot Recipe Ingredients
6 medium or large apples
4 tbs peanut butter
1 tbs cinnamon

Baked Apples Crockpot Recipe Directions
First take out the core of the apples. Then combine the peanut butter and cinnamon together. Whipped peanut butter seems to work best. Fill the cores with the peanut butter and cinnamon mix and place the apples in the Crockpot on a low setting for about 4 hours. Once finished, the apples can be eaten whole or cut up in pieces.
