Crockpot Squid Ball Recipe Revision
The Stove Top can be replaced with anything from rice to bread crumbs but I chose Stove Top stuffing because it has a good taste already.

Squid Ball Crockpot Recipe
Submitted by: Amie, MA
This is a recipe I thought up one day and the result was better than I thought. At first I tried just adding the squid without first sauteeing it but the squid became a little more chewy than I liked. I use Stove Top stuffing because it forms well using egg whites and taste good. I also tried bread crumbs which worked just as well. I usually serve this once a month or more depending on if we have guest at the house.
Crockpot Squid Ball Recipe Ingredients
1 packages Stove Top Stuffing
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped.
1 egg white
1 pound squid
1 large can tomatoes.
2 tablespoons chopped parsley.
1/2 teaspoon oregano.
Crockpot Squid Ball Recipe Directions
First cut up the squid in small pieces and season with salt and pepper. Saute the squid for a little bit. Create the stuffing and add to a large mixing bowl. Combine the celery, onions, egg whites, and chopped squid together with the stuffing and create medium sized balls. Add these balls to the crockpot and pour the mixture of tomatoes, parsley, and oregano over them. Cook on low for 6 hours for a very tasty appetizer.
