Chicken Satay Crockpot Revision

Flattening the chicken breast can take more time; cutting the breast into 1/4 inch strips is also an option. The same marinade can also be used with moo satay as well.

Chicken Satay Crockpot Recipe

Submitted by: salim, NY

I fell in love with chicken satay after trying it at a local Thai place. After checking some internet sites I decided to create my own recipe which turned out pretty well. A great appetizer for any meal.

Chicken Satay Crockpot Recipe Ingredients

4 boneless small chicken breast
1 cup soy sauce
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp yellow curry powder
2 cloves of garlic (minced)

Chicken Satay Crockpot Recipe Directions

Cut the chicken breasts in half and use a tenderizer to flatten the chicken breast to 1/4 inch thick. In a small bowl mix the soy sauce, curry powder, sugar, garlic, and pepper. Marinate the chicken breast with this marinade and place into the Crockpot. Pour the remaining marinade into the Crockpot over the chicken breast. Cook on low for six hours and serve a tasty appetizer.
